EVERETT, Wash. – Around 9 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a stabbing in the 13000 block of Meridian Ave South. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 33 year-old Everett man, with a stab wound to his chest and immediately began life saving measures. Police say there was an “ongoing feud between two groups of juvenile girls and both sides made threats to get their adult family members involved.”

Around 9 p.m. Sunday, three men and multiple girls arrived in a vehicle to the apartment complex where the victim lived. Two adult men exited the vehicle and began engaging in a verbal altercation with the 33 year-old victim and a 35 year-old man. The confrontation in the parking lot turned physical and one of the suspects stabbed the 33 year-old victim before fleeing the scene in a passenger vehicle. The 35 year-old man suffered a laceration near his eye and was treated on scene.

Detectives are still working to identify the suspects involved.
