The cold weather and snow didn’t deter demonstrators from the 41st annual “March For Life” on The National Mall in Washington, D.C. Wednesday.
Thousands showed up to protest the Supreme Court’s landmark 1973 decision that declared a constitutional right to abortion.
March For Life President Jeanne Monahan told the crowd that the theme of this year’s march is adoption and the loving sacrifice a birth mother makes when deciding to give her child up for adoption.
Pope Francis Tweeted support for the march.
