Police: 5 teens facing child porn charges in Virginia

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — – Five juveniles are facing charges for illicit images of teenage girls found on a social media account. The five boys all live in Fairfax, with two attending Robinson Secondary School, two attending Lake Braddock Secondary School, and one attending W.T. Woodson High School.

On Feb. 13, two victims from Robinson High School told their school administrator they discovered nude images of themselves on an anonymous Snapchat account. The school resource officer then contacted our Child Exploitation Unit, which conducted a lengthy investigation culminating in identifying and charging the five juveniles with a total of 10 felony charges on May 8. Nine charges were for possession of child pornography, one charge was for unlawful filming.

The victims attended West Springfield High School, Lake Braddock High School, Robinson High School, and South County High School. Although detectives were able to identify and notify some of the victims, many are still unidentifiable.
