NASHVILLE, TENN — Arrest warrants charging aggravated robbery and kidnapping have been issued against convicted felon Racardo Spencer, 29, who is accused of attacking a woman Wednesday night outside the “Obama Market” at 626 40th Avenue North.
The 46-year-old victim reported that she exited the market at 11 p.m. after making a purchase and got into her car where Spencer was lying in the front passenger seat which he had fully reclined. He then allegedly ordered her to drive him to a nearby apartment building where he demanded cash. She said she complied but Spencer struck her in the head, apparently upset that she only had $15.
Spencer has turned himself in.
At the time of the attack, Spencer was free on $20,000 bond for his arrest last month for domestic assault and violating his probation.
He has previous convictions for reckless homicide, cocaine possession, and felon in possession of a weapon.
