CALIFORNIA — On Sunday, December 6, 2015, at approximately 11:56 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the report of a possible deceased newborn baby located in a parking lot at 7th Street and Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed a newborn baby was deceased.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail responded to the location and conducted an investigation. During the investigation, Teresa Reed was identified as the person who gave birth to Baby Doe. Reed was interviewed and booked for PC 187 – Murder at West Valley Detention Center. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
