NASHVILLE, TENN. — Four armed men invaded a home at 1120 Florence Ave. in Madison just before 9 a.m. Tuesday. Five residents, including three children, fled the home after the MNPD’s swift arrival.
The four men arrested following the day-long SWAT response are all jailed on charges of aggravated robbery.
Maurice Bowers, 30, of Cline Avenue in Hendersonville, and Torrey Glen, 37, of Lewis Street, surrendered to SWAT officers at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Jamarious Jackson, 30, of Joseph Avenue, was apprehended about two hours later while hiding in the attic after refusing numerous commands to surrender.
SWAT officers saw no sign of a fourth suspect during Jackson’s arrest, but, after further evaluation of the scene, decided to do a secondary sweep using thermal imaging equipment. That led to the 7 p.m. discovery of parolee Brandon M. Jones, 28, of Old Matthews Road, who had hidden in the attic under insulation and duct work.
