A new polls shows that more than half of the country believes that the media is too critical of President Donald Trump, according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released.
51% of Americans said that the media is too critical of President Trump, 41% believe that the media have been fair and objective.
The poll also indicated that Americans are becoming more optimistic about where the country is headed. 40% believe it is headed in the right directions, while only 18% percent felt that way in July.
The poll also found that 53 percent of people think the media has exaggerated problems in Trump’s White House.
The poll was conducted by phone Feb. 18-22, surveying 1,000 American adults. It has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.
