Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Ag Task Force have arrested Juan Magana, 50, of Fresno and Christy Angle, 36, of Fresno.

Magana has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on felony charges for marijuana cultivation. Angle has been booked into the Fresno County Jail for an outstanding warrant related to child support payments.

On Tuesday at around 11:00 am, a farmer made a report to the Sheriff’s Office that two porta potties and the trailer they were on had been stolen. The farmer had rented the porta potties from a local company and left them in a vineyard on the 13000 block of S. Peach Ave. in Selma for his workers to use. The farmer filed a crime report after receiving a call from the rental company asking if he was ready for them to pick up the trailer. He told them he thought they had already picked it up because he noticed it was no longer in his vineyard. The trailer had a GPS tracking device installed, so the rental company was able to find its location and notified FSO dispatchers.

Later in the afternoon, Ag Task Force detectives responded to a home on the 200 block of W. North Ave. in Fresno, where the trailer was believed to be located. EAGLE One flew overhead as detectives served a search warrant at the property where several adults and children were staying. Detectives found the stolen trailer and porta potties in the backyard. They also discovered an illegal indoor marijuana grow, which contained close to 200 plants. An arrest for the porta potty thefts has not been made, but they have been returned to the rental agency.

Green was booked into jail for outstanding warrants related to drug possession and traffic violations. Seeley was booked into jail for outstanding warrants related to vehicle theft and operating a chop shop.
