Reality show contestant Cristie Schoen Codd and her husband Joseph Codd were reported missing last weekend.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 36-year-old Robert Jason Owens was arrested and charged with two counts of felony first-degree murder, one felony count of breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking and entering and one count of murder of an unborn child.
Owens allegedly broke into the couple’s home on Sunday, stealing a laptop and a Glock handgun, the Citizen-Times reports.
Investigators said Friday they found human remains inside a wood stove in the home of the man charged with killing Codd, her husband and their unborn child.
Police have not released a motive for the killing.
The arrest warrant states Owens “unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did of malice afterthought kill and murder” Cristie and JT Codd and their unborn child on March 12.
Schoen Codd was best known for her appearance on season 8 of the competition series Food Network Star in 2012.
