INDIANAPOLIS- Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 18-year-old pregnant woman dead on the city’s southwest side.
Shortly after 9:15 am on May 4, 2017, officers with IMPD were dispatched to the 3400 Block of W Michigan Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived they located an victim who was struck by gunfire.
Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) responded to the scene and transported the victim to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition where she later died.
Homicide Detectives are scene. Police are looking for two suspects.
