Rapper Rick Ross Denied Bail After Pistol-Whipping, Kidnapping Construction Worker

ATLANTA — Rapper Rick Ross was arrested and has been denied bail after allegedly kidnapping a man and ‘pistol-whipping’ him during an incident that took place on June 7.

Mr. Ross and his bodyguard were both taken into custody without incident. The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The two were apprehended at the music mogul’s home in Fayette County.

Ross is facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

WSB-TV reports that Ross was having work done on the property he bought in Fayette County and got into a fight with one of the workers.

Rick Ross allegedly took a 9mm Glock handgun and pistol-whipped the worker so badly, he injured his jaw and neck, according to TMZ.

Ross allegedly got into an argument with his groundskeeper and forced him into the guesthouse bedroom at gunpoint.

It’s unclear what led up to the assault.

He’s currently being held in Fayette County jail.
