Over the weekend, Australian media reported the rescue of a stranded sailor and his loyal companion in the South Pacific Ocean.
Tim Shaddock, a 51-year-old sailor, embarked on his journey from La Paz, Mexico, accompanied by his faithful dog, Bella, three months prior. One month into their voyage, a violent storm battered their white catamaran, causing extensive damage and rendering all electronic devices useless, 9News reported. Shaddock recounted their survival for three months at sea, surviving on raw fish and rainwater.
Their ordeal finally came to an end when a Mexican tuna trawler came to their rescue over the weekend. The crew plucked Shaddock and Bella from their boat and transported them to Mexico.
