Orlando, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces the arrest of Miguel Diaz Gonzalez (40, Orlando) on a criminal complaint charging him with production of child sex abuse material. If convicted, Gonzalez faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 15 years, and up to 30 years, in federal prison. Gonzalez  has been ordered detained pending trial.

According to the complaint, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a tip concerning an online media storage account associated with username “Satans child,” and investigators found child sexual abuse material in that account. Usage of the “Satans child” account was traced to Gonzalez’s home in Orlando.

Following the execution of a search warrant at Gonzalez’s home, law enforcement agents confirmed that Gonzalez uses the “Satans child” account and, thereafter, executed a warrant to search the account, which contained a video depicting Gonzalez raping an eight-year-old child who had previously been in Gonzalez’s care.
