Jory Wiebrand, a 35-year-old Ham Lake man, who sexually assaulted multiple women between 2015 and 2020, was sentenced to 550 months in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of criminal sexual conduct, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

On Jan. 14, Wiebrand pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Friday, Wiebrand was sentenced by Judge Kerry Meyer to 550 months in prison.

Four of the survivors of Wiebrand’s attacks presented impact statements to the Court. Their statements outlined the emotional and physical trauma they experienced during and after their violent sexual assaults, the daily challenges they face resulting from such horrific crimes, and how they are coping presently.

In a brief response, Wiebrand stated he was “sorry for his actions.”

After sentencing, survivor Brooke Morath spoke to local news outlet WCCO.
