At Least 30 Dead and Hundreds Injured In Brussels Terror Attacks

At least thirty-four people have been killed and 212 were injured after several blasts rocked Brussels.

Zaventem airport was completely shutdown after this morning’s explosion.

All flights were subsequently diverted.

The entire border between Belgium and France has been placed on lock-down.

​The blasts in Brussels come just days after Salah Abdeslam was arrested in Belgium.

An explosives team from the Belgian Army have detonated a undetonated suicide vest that was found at Brussels Airport.

ISIS has now claimed responsibility for the deadly Brussels attack.

Police forces across Europe have responded by increasing their presence at key locations.

The NYPD said it would be increasing security measures at mass transit points, bridges and tunnels.

Brussels police have confirmed that Zaventem’s great hall was the target of the attack.

Eyewitnesses have reported hearing a shot fired in the departure hall, the attacker then screamed a phrase in Arabic.

The federal prosecutor of Belgium, Frédéric Van Leo, said that three explosions rocked Brussels this morning. Two blasts took place in the departure lounge of the airport, one of which was likely by a suicide bomber.

Half an hour later, the Metro attack occurred. Police are looking for the suspect seen on the right side of this photo. The two others, dressed in black, are believed to have died in the suicide mission.
