Shocking aerial photographs reveal the huge expansion of the Macedonian migrant camp, where over 10,000 migrants have settled.

At least 10,000 migrants have camped outside the border for days at the Idomeni border crossings.

Officials have revealed that hundreds more migrants arrive each day, putting a strain on border agents.

Two migrant camps have filled up to the limit within one week, tents have now been set up in farmers field nearby.

Greek police have confirmed that 500 people were allowed to cross the border on Thursday.

Macedonia turned most of them back after authorities said their paperwork was not in order.

Macedonia has now implemented a huge 19-mile barbed wire fence, with parallel lines of fencing to keep the thousands of migrants out.

This comes as Serbia has announced it will only allow migrants to enter through their country if they were only seeking asylum in Germany or Austria.

Over one week ago, Austria announced it would be turning back any new arrivals that were seeking asylum in Scandinavia.

A Serbian minister commented that migrants cannot continue with their journey unless they plan to seek asylum in Germany.

The backlog has also stretched to Greece, where officials say more than 22,000 people are stranded.

This month Austria, which took in 90,000 asylum seekers in 2015 and saw almost 10 times as many pass through, imposed a daily cap on the number of asylum claims.
