Usually when it comes to Halloween, it’s guaranteed to experience a few tasteless costumes and decorations.
But many haven’t proved to be as contentious as the decorations outside this house, which has adopted an anti ISIS theme for their decorations.
The front of their home in Butler, New Jersey features a mannequin of President Obama wielding a bloodied-machete and there’s even a graphic depiction of the Jordanian pilot who was burned alive in a cage when he was caught by ISIS.
While the display has been slammed by neighbours, the property owners claimed that the display was an act of defiance against the terror group.
The home owner, known only as Matt, said: ‘We in this house do not like ISIS.
‘What greater scary man is there than the real threat among us?’
AlexJo Natale, who lives across the street from the property, said: ‘’I think it’s tasteless and un-American.
‘Like it or not, Halloween is now viewed as a kids’ holiday.
‘That’s not (a house) I would think a lot of parents would want their kids trick or treating at.’
And while it’s pretty graphic at the moment, Matt now plans to add to the display when Halloween gets closer.
