The Ramapo Police Dept tells Breaking911.com that they received information about an incident that occurred on a school bus. On 10/28/14 at about 7:30 am a school bus driver was seen, by a student who was on the bus, masturbating while driving the bus. The student, a minor, was on the bus in route to be dropped off at a near-by parochial school. The student observed the driver expose his genitals and masturbate while driving the bus. This action lasted a short period of time. After being dropped off at school the student advised school officials and his parents.
Upon investigating this incident, Robert Bertart (60) of Orangetown was arrested and charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a child. Bertart was working for the Vel Coach Company based in Nanuet at the time of this incident.
