Jericho, VT – A Vermont State Police Trooper suffered a medical event at the Ethan Allen Firing Range at approximately 2 PM this afternoon during a training exercise.
The trooper was transported from Jericho to the UVM Medical Center, where the trooper was declared deceased. Vermont State Police is withholding the name of the trooper pending notification of family.
Due to ongoing efforts to locate family members, the Vermont State Police say they will have no more information tonight.
