Stephen Colbert Interviews Eminem on Public Access TV

The comedian, who ended his run as host of “The Colbert Report” and will begin “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” in September, traveled to Monroe, Michigan, to host “Only in Monroe,” a local public access cable show. The comedian interviewed rapper Eminem and explored the town’s history.

The footage was posted on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” YouTube channel on Wednesday night.

Program director Lance Sottile tells The Detroit Free Press they were “really happy” Colbert could fill in for the regular hosts.

Colbert used to host “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central. He’s stepping into CBS’ late-night slot long occupied by David Letterman.
