**UPDATE: U.S. Marshals have arrested accused murderer Leroy D. Topp Jr., 31, in Fayetteville, NC.**
NASHVILLE, Tenn. –South Precinct detectives, with assistance from Crime Stoppers, have identified Leroy Dallas Topp Jr., 31, as the gunman who killed Carlos Logan, 34, outside a 361 Harding Place gas station last Thursday morning. A murder warrant has been issued charging Topp, who has convictions for homicide-manslaughter and assault with intent to commit murder out of Michigan.
Topp, who may be driving a gray extended cab Ford F-150 pickup truck, has ties to Michigan, Texas and Clarksville. His present whereabouts are unknown.
Topp and Logan had some type of altercation at the gas station. Logan is seen throwing a snack cake at Topp before the shooting.
