Suspects Sought In Vandalism of Confederate Monument In North Carolina


SALISBURY, N.C. — Salisbury Police are currently investigating a vandalism that occurred during the early morning hours on Wednesday March 20th in Downtown Salisbury to the Confederate Statue “Fame”. This is the second act of vandalism there in seven months.

The statue was covered in yellow paint by the suspects, police say.

Investigators have obtained video footage of a vehicle and 2 subjects of interest.
