Police, Bomb Squad Swarm Campus of Case Western Reserve Univ.

OHIO — Police and bomb squad units responded to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland on Thursday.

According to WEWS, seventeen buildings were evacuated after ‘suspicious items’ were found in classrooms.

The University sent out the following alert: “A low-risk threat to campus has been received in the vicinity of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations. Authorities are determining its credibility. Expect increased police activity in the area. At this time, Bellflower Road is closed between Ford Drive and East 115th Street.”

No injuries have been reported.
