Westminster Police are asking for assistance locating two juveniles.
COLORADO — 17 year old Tziah Thornton and his younger brother, 4 year old Ziare Mackey, left their home at 7161 Grove Way at noon yesterday. They have not returned home. According to their mother; Tziah was supposed to be taking Ziare to the Denver Zoo. They were supposed to be home by 8 PM. She has not heard from them. Tziah does not have a cell phone so she is unable to call him directly.
She said Tziah might be meeting a girl at the zoo. Westminster Police were called at approximately 12:30 AM. Two detectives were immediately called-in to pursue any leads. The police department has been working to find Tziah and Ziare since being called at 12:30 this morning. There is no foul play suspected, and neither sibling has any medical conditions that would immediately jeopardize their health.
Tziah is being listed as a runaway and Ziare is listed as a missing person. There is no crime and no charges are being pursued based on information available at this time.
