COLORADO — On January 23, 2017, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the area of Blazing Trail Drive and Pony Tracks Drive on a reported Attempted Abduction.

Two 15 year old female students were walking northbound on Pony Tracks Drive by the golf course when they were passed by a gray colored, older model sedan (unknown make and model) with two or three occupants. The vehicle had Colorado plates with white background and green numbers. The vehicle returned and drove next to them along the east curb while they walked on the sidewalk.

The front passenger, a white male wearing a black hat and black hoodie sweatshirt, asked them if they wanted a ride to Sand Creek High School. The male was described as being in his mid-twenties with short, dark hair. The driver was a heavy-set white male with short hair and wearing a bright red shirt.

The girls refused the ride, at which time the front passenger reached out and grabbed one of the teenagers by her left arm and said, “get in or else.” The teenager told her friend to run away, as she pulled her arm free from the grasp of the male. Both teens met up in a nearby field. The teenagers reported the vehicle was still driving around the neighborhood as they called the police. The teenagers did not recognize the males.
