A Kansas teen has been charged with first-degree murder in the beating death of her boss, a pizza shop owner.
Investigators say 19-year-old Sarah McLinn and 52-year-old Harold Sasko had been living together outside Kansas City.
Cops say McLinn subdued her boss before beating him with an edged instrument. His body was discovered in the town of Lawrence about two weeks ago, but his car and McLinn were missing.
Over the weekend, authorities received a tip from park rangers in the Florida Everglades. The teen is believed to have been living out of Sasko’s car.
If convicted, McLinn could receive the death penalty.
