El Paso, Texas- A 35 –year old man has been arrested and charged with the murder of his parents.
Benjamin Duncan called police communications early this morning and reported killing his parents. Officers arrived, entered the residence through an open door, and encountered Benjamin Duncan who immediately surrendered himself.
68–year old Julie Duncan and 67–year old Richard Duncan were discovered inside the residence with stab wounds. Julie Duncan was pronounced dead on the scene.
Richard Duncan was transported to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. Benjamin Duncan was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Capital Murder under a $1,000,000 bond.
Police did not comment on a motive for the crime. The investigation is continuing.
