State police are on the campus of Hendrick Hudson High School and the Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School.

Both schools have been placed under lockdown.

Breaking911 has received an update from Schools Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter on the following incident.

NYS Police remain onsite at the High School. We plan to dismiss Frank G. Lindsey students on time or close to on time. Afterschool activities have been cancelled at the Hendrick Hudson High School, Frank G. Lindsey and Blue Mountain Middle School. Please do not call the High School or Frank G. Lindsey as phones will not be answered while the lockdown is in place.

Parents have been asked to please stay away from the high school until further notice while lock down is in place.

This is the second day in a row that the high school has been under a lockdown.

Schools Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter said state police were investigating a stolen computer and a broken window in one of the classrooms.

While the police were still in the building, one of the secretaries received a phone call telling her the caller knew of the investigation followed by a threat.
