FLORIDA — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Leelynn Mark Drye. He is a registered sex offender who came to register today at 1024 Superior Street. When corrections ran him through the computer, they determined he was in violation for registering his address and detained him. The suspect stated he needed to use the restroom. The suspect was handcuffed in front and was allowed to use the restroom. The corrections officer stood outside the door. The suspect went out the bathroom window and escaped. Police were notified and a search was conducted with negative results.
It has been determined the suspect had two warrants issued for his arrest on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 for sex offender violations with a $300,000 bond.
