MEMPHIS, Tennessee — (Scroll down for video) — YouTube user Gumbo Jones posted the video and wrote: “This happened today in East Memphis Tn, they locked my nephew up and was pointing the gun at my friend and his pregnant baby mother.”
The incident was reported during an arrest on Tuesday, when a marshal pointed a gun at two people who were not being arrested. Police surrounded a home at an apartment complex in Hickory Hill looking to capture a violent felon.
Marshals spokesman Seth Bruce said Wednesday that the marshal was following proper procedures. He says Gibbs was wanted for several violent felonies and the apartment constituted an “unknown threat” to authorities.
