Video Shows Suspect Vandalizing Brooklyn Church

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video who is sought in connection with criminal mischief within the confines of the 90th Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 0350 hours at Our Lady of Consolation Church located at 184 Metropolitan Avenue, an unknown male knocked over a religious statue, causing damage to the statue. The unknown male, who appears to have a beard and was wearing a dark ski cap, dark hooded sweatshirt with distinctive designs on the front and back, then fled on foot.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
