(Scroll down for video) – A baseball fan has been blasted on social media after he was filmed cruelly ‘stealing’ a baseball out of the hands of an elderly woman at a game.
The ball-snatcher has been dubbed a ‘man-child’ on social media.
It comes after he was seen wrestling the foul ball from the fingers of the woman after she bent over railings to pick it up off the floor.
In the clip, the woman is seen sitting next to her partner as the ball comes flying into the stands.
But as she leans over the railings to pick it up, the unknown man runs over to her and barges her out of the way before claiming the ball for himself.
Both the woman and the man were Philadelphia Phillies fans, watching the weekend game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
After the incident, a member of stadium staff approaches the woman and hands her a T-shirt, as an apology for the man’s behavior.
