His “magic carpet” doesn’t fly, but it does let him get through traffic. And the traffic is not the streets of Bagdad, but the streets of New York City.
The carpet looks a little like a huge skateboard, but it is pretty clear that a skate board it is not. Why? Because no one can maneuver a skateboard like this Aladdin can.
He can also manipulate it without him being actually on the carpet.
The camera work is also amazing in that it captures the reactions of typical New Yorkers who take out their phones and start recording. It seems that there is nothing like recording those who record to show excitement. Jesse Wellens plays Aladdin and Casey Neistadt is the filmmaker.
