WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) Footage has emerged which shows two good Samaritans restrain an armed mugger.
The men restrained George Blackwell in the snow at Queen Anne Plaza Shopping Center in Pennsylvania.
Police reported that a 53-year-old woman was near a Credit Union store when her purse was grabbed.
George Blackwell, aged 60, then approached her with a box cutter and attempted to steal her wallet.
He then fled and threw the wallet, witnesses ran after him and held him down.
Video footage shows them asking the man: ‘Do you have a weapon – yes or no? Do you have a knife?’
handcuff him.
The dramatic incident was captured on film by Ron Roberts who told NBCÂ Philadelphia: ‘These guys were big.
‘They threw him over the snow and they had his head in the snow. They weren’t letting him get up. They made sure he was going to jail today.’
Blackwell was arrested and charged with robbery.
