For more than 90 years, Americans have gathered together and celebrated this historic holiday event in our nation’s capital. The 2014 National Christmas Tree Lighting takes place on the Ellipse at President’s Park, one of America’s 401 national parks. It is presented by the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation.
