(Scroll down for video) — Before the start of an exhibition match between Greece and Turkey in Istanbul today, both teams shared a moment of silence to honor the victims of the Paris attacks.

Europe’s governing soccer body (UEFA), requested that all European international games hold one minute of silence before the start of their matches and wear black armbands.

Reuters reporter Ece Toksabay tweeted that some fans chanted “Allah Akbar.”

The Turkey-Greece soccer game was not the only European match where the minute of silence was interrupted, SFGte reported. In Monday’s Ireland-Bosnia Euro 2016 playoff game, a Bosnian fan disrupted the moment of silence yelling “Palestine, Palestine.”

The Paris attacks killed 129 people, 89 of whom were at the Bataclan theatre. 433 people were admitted to hospital with injuries sustained in the attacks, including 80 described as being critically injured.

In addition to the victims, seven attackers died, and the authorities continued to search for any accomplices still at large. The attacks were the deadliest in France since World War II.
