MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A family evening of karaoke and drinking in September ended in an argument and gunfire resulting in the death of a 41-year-old man and now murder charges against his wife.

A grand jury this week indicted Evanny Ricchay Littlejohn, 37, on a count of first-degree murder. She is being held on $100,000 bond.

The incident occurred on Sept. 21 this year at a residence in the 4800 block of Applestone Cove in Whitehaven where a small-scale party abruptly ended in an argument among family members.

Witnesses said Littlejohn pulled a pistol and shot her husband, Kantrell Littlejohn, in the chest. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.
