ATLANTA — Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Cascade Ave in the South Westview Community on a person armed call.
Officers met with a male and female who stated they were playing video games with their nephew when an older female they knew entered the room with a handgun.
The suspect pointed the weapon at everybody in the room and told them she was going to shoot them. The victims advisedpolice that the female suspect was in a car nearby. Officers approached the vehicle and found the suspect in the passenger seat along with a driver.
The suspect denied having a weapon when asked, but the driver volunteered to show officers where the handgun was. The firearm was found directly behind the seat of the female suspect.
The female was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
