On Monday, the Secret Service apprehended a woman in Chicago following allegations from prosecutors that she sent a series of menacing emails to a school in Florida, where she issued threats to kill former President Donald Trump and his teenage son, Barron.

Tracy Fiorenza, 41, reportedly wrote an email to the headmaster of a Palm Beach school on May 21, 2023, wherein she allegedly stated, “I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get.”

Court documents reveal that a few days later, Fiorenza sent another email to the unnamed school official, where she purportedly wrote, “I am going to slam a bullet in Baron Trump’s head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!”

According to court records, Secret Service agents based in Chicago interviewed Fiorenza on June 14, 2023. During this interview, she reportedly confessed to writing the threatening messages while at her home in Illinois.

On Monday, Fiorenza appeared in a federal court in Chicago. It is anticipated that she will be extradited to Florida, where the charges against her were initially filed. A detention hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
