NEW YORK — 27-year-old Gloribel Serrano turned herself in Tuesday after being wanted for a tire iron attack in the Bronx.
Gloribel Serrano allegedly attacked the 35-year-old victim near East Bedford Park and Marion Avenue in Bedford Park at about 2:30 a.m. on May 12.
Serrano walked up to the victim and hit her in the head with the tire iron.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and released.
The suspect has been charged with felony assault.
It was not clear what sparked the attack. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 800-577-TIPS.
