MEMPHIS, TENN– Davonte Weatherford was shot by a Memphis police officer last year. The police department initially denied access to the body camera footage but an ongoing legal battle by Weatherford has since made it available.
Weatherford, who survived the shooting, disputes the claim that he waived or pointed a gun at the police officer prior to getting shot.
