Country artist Zac Brown was reportedly involved in a drug bust at a Florida hotel last Friday but walked away without any charges.

Police responded to the Four Seasons in Palm Beach and conducted a drug investigation around 5 a.m.

According to TMZ, citing a source, Brown was in the room police entered.

Three people were ultimately arrested on cocaine and marijuana charges.

Brown was found to be in the possession of prescription pills but the cops only asked the singer to send the department proof they belonged to him legally, the report said.

From TMZ: “We have called the Palm Beach PD numerous times over the last few days to ask about Zac and all they would say is that he wasn’t mentioned in the police report. We noted the police report said there were 9 people in the room, and it went on to break it down … 3 men and 5 women. We noted the number didn’t add up, so who was the missing person? They wouldn’t say.”

Excerpts from the purported police report (Via RadarOnline): “Upon my arrival, Sgt. Walley advised that he located felony drugs inside the vehicle and subsequently directed me and Ofc. Pumalo to room 4671,” where cops found “the passengers of that vehicle.” – “Hotel security followed us to the room and stated the hotel had received noise complaints from that room.” – “positively identified by her Florida driver’s license as (Chanel) Martinez-Lugo.” – “Inside the purse, I located a small plastic bag containing a white powder, which I recognized based on my training and experience as cocaine.”

“Martinez-Lugo was read her Miranda rights from a department prepared card. In post-Miranda statements, Martinez-Lugo stated she was given the cocaine from someone at her employer, ‘Pure Platinum.’ [a strip club]” – “Martinez-Lugo stated she ingested cocaine, via her mouth, while at work and knew it was cocaine and within her purse.” – “35 small zip lock baggies containing white powder that appeared to be cocaine.”“The 35 small zip lock baggies … tested positive for cocaine with a total weight of approximately 24.6 grams.”

“Due to the quantity and individual packaging … I have probable cause to charge Delgado with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell pursuant to F.S.S. 893.13(1)(A).”

The Zac Brown Band charted sixteen singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs, of which eight have reached number 1: “Chicken Fried”, “Toes”, “Highway 20 Ride”, “Free”, “As She’s Walking Away”, “Colder Weather”, “Knee Deep”, “Keep Me in Mind.”
