Zephyrhills, FL. — ZPD detectives are investigating the death of a woman inside a Grand Reserve apartment. On 12/28/15 at 2:00 p.m., patrol units responded to 38450 Valley Oaks #214 in reference to a suspicious incident.
Upon arrival units learned apartment management had entered the above address to check on the well-being of the victim.
The victim missed church and other community functions which she normally attends. Management found the front door unlocked and later found the deceased inside the apartment.
The victim has been identified as 60 year old Winnifred Francis-Ellis. A preliminary investigation suggests foul play was involved but the cause of the woman’s death is not known at this time.
According to the victim’s family, Tijauni Rhomane Stone (DOB 10/24/89) was residing with the victim while his mother is in London. Tijauni Stone is said to be autistic and has Down Syndrome.
Stone has a tendency to be aggressive and violent. Stone was not in the apartment upon arrival of management or officers.
The victim’s family stated Stone is a grown man with the mentality of a 5 year old. He is currently listed as missing endangered.
