PHILADELPHIA — Officials in Philly continue to be on heightened alert after a Police Officer was ambushed by a radicalized Muslim last week.
The alleged gunman, Edward Archer, is now believed to be a part of a group of four men, according to an anonymous police tip.
NBC10 obtained the document. It says, in part, “the treat to police is not over … the offender who shot [Officer Jesse] Hartnett is part of a group that consists of three others and that the [alleged shooter] is not the most radical of the four.”
According to the report, the tip came from a female who contacted a police officer. Investigators are working to identify the other three reported suspects.
Officer Jesse Hartnett remains hospitalized after being shot three times in the arm by the terrorist.
