COLORADO — UPDATE: Wound Officer identified as Antonio Lopez Jr.
MORE: An Officer with the Denver Police Department was shot multiple times during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
The Officer was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The Officer was struck in both arms and both legs.
The scene was at Federal Boulevard and Clyde Place, according to DenverChannel.
Four schools in the area have been placed on lockdown.
From Fox13: “Emergency scanner traffic indicated the shooting occurred after a bank robbery in the area, but police were yet to confirm those details as of noon.
Lakewood Police indicated they were assisting with the incident after receiving a request to do so from Denver Police.”
There were unconfirmed reports of a suspect in custody. No further details were available.
