A 4th alarm fire has been reported in a warehouse around 1900 block of Washington. A St. Louis Fire Department PIO reported that currently 8 Arial Ladders are in operation as well as 5 “2 1/2 in.” hand lines. 80 firefighters are currently working on the scene and surrounding agencies are responding as mutual aid to provide fire coverage for the rest of the city.
All members accounted for and firefighters are currently working in defensive operations. There is heavy fire through out the building.
The building is a 2 story brick structure that appears to be an abandoned commercial warehouse.
