The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who is wanted in connection to (3) police impersonation incidents which occurred within the confines of the 94th, 50th and 52nd Precincts.
The details are as follows:
The suspect enters commercial establishments, identifies himself as Sgt. Russo from the NYPD and requests a donation for sick children of Police Officers.
Incident#1 (94 Pct): On Friday, April 24, 2015 at 3:45PM, inside of Bagel Smith located at 189 Bedford Avenue.
Incident#2 (52 Pct): On Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:45AM, inside of Salsa Con Fuego Restaurant located at 2297 Cedar Avenue.
Incident#3 (50 Pct): On Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:34PM, inside of Caridad Restaurant located at 135 West Kingsbridge Road.
The suspect is identified as 43-year-old Richard Gomez who is 5’8″, 180lbs.
