WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) Officials at Amtrak are trying to determine what kind of mysterious object struck an Amtrack train in Philadelphia.

The incident took place at around 6:55pm on Sunday evening on Amtrak’s northbound Acela Express.

Amtrak has reported that none of the 201 passengers sustained any injuries.

The train came to a stop at Amtrak’s Metropark station in New Jersey as inspectors checked for other significant damage.

It is reported that nothing was found, and the train proceeded to its destination, Penn Station in New York City.

The incident took place where an Amtrak train derailed in May, which resulted in the deaths of eight people.

Current investigations are looking into whether a projectile also hit that train, which ABC news reports is an area notorious for rock throwing.
