A 1-year-boy is dead and two adults are fighting for their lives after a fire at a high-rise in Brooklyn.
The fire was at 260 Mother Gaston Blvd., in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn at around 8:30AM.
In addition to two victims that are in critical condition, the FDNY says four others were being treated for serious injuries.
According to the FDNY, the fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment on the 13th floor. At the time, there were seven people in the apartment.
It was under control at 9:21 a.m.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
