NEW YORK — Two NYPD Officers were struck by a car on the West Side of Manhattan Thursday afternoon. According to WABC, the officers were issuing a ticket when the driver of the car became angry and sped away, injuring the officers.
The scene is at West 55th Street at Eighth Avenue. The driver was stopped a short distance away and taken into custody along with two others.
The officers, one with a foot injury, were being check out by EMTs. No further details were available.
